Jovie's Story

Hi, I'm Jovie.
I'm about 1 year and 3 months old, weigh around 40 pounds, and I'm a spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped boxer mix.

I'm incredibly friendly and full of life. I love to play, I love my chew toys, and I'm always ready for the next adventure. I'm an active girl who enjoys staying busy and being included in daily activities-especially walks.

I do well with other dogs, but I'm best matched with bigger dogs only, preferably another young, playful pup who can keep up with my energy. Cats are not a good fit for me, and chickens are a definite no. I've made my feelings about chickens very clear.

I'm house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. An active home would be perfect for me, and a fenced yard would be a big plus so I have space to run and play safely.

I was adopted from this rescue when I was around 4 months old, and I'm now back in their care because I couldn't resist the temptation of the chicken coop-despite many attempts to keep me out. Sometimes instincts win. I'm a great dog who just needs the right environment to succeed.

If you're looking for a fun, energetic companion who's affectionate, playful, and always up for something to do, I'm ready to find my forever home-one without chickens, but full of love and activity.
