Their family experienced a major life change and had to move unexpectedly, leaving them unable to take the dogs with them. Because of this, we are looking for homes that can provide:<br/><br/> A securely fenced yard<br/> An active lifestyle<br/> Previous breed experience or strong breed knowledge<br/> Understanding of the training and mental stimulation German Shepherds require<br/> Knowledge of pet insurance and willingness to insure them, as the breed can be prone to hip/elbow dysplasia and degenerative myelopathy<br/><br/> These applications will be thoroughly vetted, just like all of our dogs. We will not place these dogs into situations that are unlikely to be successful long-term.<br/><br/>Please do your research before applying. German Shepherds are incredible companions, but they are not the right fit for every home. This covers her vet cost including spay, microchip, heartworm test, rabies, Bordatella, 4 Parvo/distemper, 2 Lepto and deworming. She has also been started on prevention for flea/tick and heartworms.
