Journey- foster or adopt's Story
Meet Journey!
Journey is a 2.5-year-old, 50 lb Blue Heeler/American Bulldog mix with a heart as big as her name suggests. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a little time and she’ll be your loyal shadow. Within hours of meeting her foster family, she was following them everywhere with love in her eyes.

This beautiful girl recently raised an adorable litter of puppies, and now it’s her turn to be cherished. Journey is calm and easygoing—happy to curl up by your feet, snooze on her bed, or quietly chew her toys while you go about your day. She loves kisses, snuggles, and sometimes even thinks she’s a lap dog, curling up in a tiny ball to be as close to you as possible.

Journey is also a smart cookie! She knows sit and down, listens when told to stop, and always comes when called. She’s house trained, crate trained, and very food motivated, which makes her a dream to train. The first night in her foster home she went into her crate with a treat, whimpered for just a few minutes, then slept soundly all night—waking up still happily snuggled with her Lambchop toy.

She would do best as the only pet in the home, but she has done well in the yard with larger, confident dogs. She hasn’t been tested with cats.

Journey is such a loving, intuitive girl who deserves a forever home where she can finally give all her kisses, snuggles, and loyalty without holding back. Could she be your new best friend?

COURTESY POST
