Our Mission
At PetAidUSA, our mission is to save and protect vulnerable animals across the United States by putting animals first—always. We are dedicated to rescuing pets from high-kill shelters, transporting them to safe havens, and providing no-cost veterinary care, spay and neuter services, and nationwide transport to rescuers, fosters, and adopters.
Adoption Policy
At PetAidUSA, we take every adoption seriously—because every animal deserves a safe, loving, and permanent home. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best possible match for both the dog and the adopter, prioritizing the lifelong well-being of each pet.
Our adoption steps are as follows:
1. Adoption Application
Prospective adopters must complete a detailed application providing all relevant information about their home, lifestyle, experience with animals, and expectations for their new companion.
2. Interview & Home Visit
Once the application is reviewed, we conduct a personal interview, which includes a home visit for local applicants or a Zoom/video tour for remote adopters. This helps us ensure a safe and appropriate environment for the dog.
3. Reference Checks
We contact personal and veterinary references to confirm the adopter's history of responsible pet ownership and readiness to provide a lifetime of care.
4. Adoption Agreement
If all steps are satisfactory, adopters sign a formal Adoption Agreement, finalizing the commitment to provide love, safety, and proper care for their new family member.
