Journey

Journey is a sassy, smart and spirited Husky mix who’s still learning to trust the world around him. He’s got that classic Husky attitude - vocal, opinionated and a little mouthy - but underneath it all, he’s a sweet guy who just needs the right person to help him feel safe and loved.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Journey came to us from a hoarding situation, so he's still figuring out how to interact with people, and we haven't had a chance to test his interactions with other dogs quite yet. We believe a slow introduction to all household members, furry and human, would be best for him. He is still pretty nervous of fast movements and loud noises so older children or no children in his future home, may be where he feels most comfortable. Because Journey is very vocal, a home without shared walls would be the best fit for him. He would still need to learn trust when being leashed, so he would also do best in a home with a fenced in yard. He is incredibly smart and treat-motivated, so treats are a fast way to his heart. After he trusts you, proper training won't be too difficult.
