Meet Josie!<br/><br/>Josie is fostered in Evans, GA and available for adoption throughout much of the United States thanks to our transport program. After nearly 6 months in foster care, this sweet girl is still waiting for her perfect match.<br/><br/>Josie is about 2 years old, weighs 35 lbs, and has a big personality with an even bigger heart. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic commands like sit and crate. She’s currently polishing her leash skills and learning polite greetings (sitting for pets). Friendly and outgoing without being overwhelming, Josie would thrive with an active adopter who enjoys adventure and cuddle time.<br/><br/>Her favorite activities include walks and hikes, playing fetch, chewing on a Benebone, and enjoying a frozen Kong. She’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to bond deeply with her person.<br/><br/>Important to know: Josie needs to be an only pet. While she currently lives with other dogs in foster care, she does best when she doesn’t have to share resources or manage other dogs’ energy.
