If you have a busy lifestyle and household, Josie may be the perfect new family member for you. <br/><br><br><br/>Josie is a petite Pit Bull type dog, about 2 years old (so she's out of the puppy phase that requires more work and time on a family's part)--she's basically a slightly bigger lap dog at just 35 pounds. Do you have a favorite TV show? Josie would absolutely love to snooze on your lap while you enjoy all the "must see" TV you can watch!<br/><br><Br><br/>This charming sweetie has a middle name and that's spelled E-A-S-Y! Don't get the wrong idea, she's still demure, but her personality just lends to fitting right into a new family, whatever that family is about--she loves everyone she meets, she's gentle with children, she thoroughly enjoys running about town in the car with her people and she's very easy to walk--she has lovely leash manners.<br/><br><Br><br/>Josie is mainly disinterested in other dogs, but we feel she'll need to go to a home with no other dogs or cats to be set up for success. The adoption fee includes: altering, AVID microchip and registration (a $20 value), initial vaccines, copy of medical vet records/history, dewormed, flea treated, collar, front clip walking harness, leash, Patricia McConnell's new book: “Love Has No Age Limit”, small bag of grain-free kibble, and plenty of post adoption support.<br/><br><br> <br/><u>BAPBR adoption guidelines: </u><br/><Br><br/>No same-sex pit bull terrier type dog pairings.<br/><br><br/>Same-sex adoptions with other breeds will be considered on a case-by-case basis, though not preferred.<br/><br><br/><br/>Indoor homes only – we do not adopt out “outdoor” dogs or “guard” dogs.<br/><br><br/><br/>Please note that adoption applicants must own their own home. A BAPBR representative will conduct a home check. There will be no exceptions made to this rule, due to the frequent restrictions on apartments, and rental homes.<br/> <br><Br><br/><em>I am looking for a leader who will keep up my training, and always show me boundaries and consistency. This will ensure that I keep giving my breed a good name. Our personalities are energetic, loyal, intelligent, fun loving, and affectionate. We require intelligent, responsible, and dedicated leadership.
