Everything felt new and overwhelming, but with patience and kindness from the staff and volunteers, I'm starting to come out of my shell.<br/><br/>I'm still building my confidence every day, so I'll need a family that understands that trust takes time. The best things in life are worth waiting for, and I promise that every small step forward will be a victory we can celebrate together.<br/><br/>Because of my shy nature, I'll do best with someone who is patient, compassionate, and willing to let me move at my own pace.
