Josie's Story

We don’t know how Josie ended up homeless or why nobody claimed her, but this sweet girl is brilliant, loves learning new things and being a sidekick!

She is about a year old, doesn’t have known experience with kids. She is however good with the elderly cats in her foster home, dogs of all sizes.

Josie loves having a dog buddy and lives doing all the things! She has been introduced to geese (does well), she loves playing frisbee, doing agility, fastcat (lure corse), going for walks, hikes, meeting people, learning new things (tricks are a favorite!)

If you are interested in getting started in dog sports or just having an activity buddy, Josie is the perfect girl for any job!

Josie is sure to make a great companion for a lucky person or family!

Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options!
That’s where you and puppers make sure you’re a good fit for one another before signing on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone! Just ask your adoption counselor about how this works. If you are interested in adopting this or another POPP dog, please complete our short adoption questionnaire found at: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-canine/

If you have any questions. please E-mail us at dogsadopt@popptricities.org.

Our puppy or dog adoption fee of $300 includes a lovable, non-judgmental canine companion who has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped prior to adoption.
Your adoption fee helps support POPP and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.
