Pima Animal Care Center's Adoption Policy
As our community's only open-admission shelter, we have the largest selection of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens waiting to meet you.
Please come to the shelter ASAP to visit with our available pets if you are interested in adopting!
You can find your new best friend at our shelter, 4000 N. Silverbell Rd, Tucson, AZ 85745.
Hours of operation:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 12 - 7pm
Wednesday 1:30 - 7pm
Saturday & Sunday, 10am-5pm
Adopters must arrive 45 minutes before closing to guarantee assistance.
All our adopted pets are micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated and come with a free vet visit, too.
Adoption Fees:
Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
Adult dogs and cats are currently free to adopt!
Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!
A standard $20 license fee applies to all adult dogs.
