Josephine

💕 Meet Josephine! Our 14-pound little sweetheart with a whole lot of love to give! 💕

Josephine may have come to us looking a little rough around the edges, but this little lady is making one BEAUTIFUL comeback! 🥹❤️

At approximately 3 years old, Josephine arrived with a terrible skin condition that had taken quite a toll on her. But thanks to some medication, medicated baths, and a whole lot of TLC, our girl is feeling SO much better!

And let us tell you, she's making up for lost time! 🥰

Josephine is a tiny 14-pound terrier mix (maybe a little Westie in there!) who is sweet as honey! She LOVES being carried around like the little princess she is, lounging in someone's lap, and romping around in the grass. She's just so darn happy to be feeling good again!

And guess what?! Her beautiful white fur is starting to grow back! 🤍 We cannot WAIT to see this little beauty when she's sporting her full fluffy coat again!

Now, here's the important part! 🐾

Josephine is ready for her forever home, but her new family will need to finish her medications and medicated shampoo schedule. She is also VERY allergic to fleas, so keeping her flea-free is an absolute MUST! We want this little girl to keep getting better, not end up back where she started.

Josephine doesn't care that she's missing a little fur. She's got plenty of personality to make up for it! And she's ready to trade her shelter accommodations for a warm lap, a soft bed, and someone who will love her forever.

The fur is coming back. The sparkle is already there. Now all she needs is YOU! 💕🐾

#MeetJosephine #LittleDogBigLove #FurEverHome #AdoptDontShop #MarionCountyAnimalControlThank you for taking the time to look at our precious "pound puppies" If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at 730-272-1071.
