Jorge's Story
Meet Jorge

Jorge is a sweet and playful 14-month-old boy. He was found all alone and rescued from the street in Curacao when he was approximately 12 weeks old. He made the trip to Toronto on Christmas Eve 2024, so he'd have an opportunity to be adopted and live his best life.

Jorge loves to run and play outside with his foster sibling, Pepino. When indoors, he grabs his favourite toy to chew on and toss in the air. When Jorge is tired from sniffing, running and playing, his affectionate nature makes him a perfect partner for cuddling on the couch and watching Netflix.

Jorge is a smart cookie who's always curious and loves to sniff everything in his little world. He's food-motivated, which helps when working on his basic manners. Of course, like all young dogs, Jorge will need basic obedience training with a professional trainer once he settles into his forever home.

Jorge's got a great personality and is truly a special pup who will bring love and happiness to your life. He tends to be quite timid when meeting new people for the first time, but this may subside once he's older and has more consistency in his life.

His energetic, playful demeanour would make him a great companion for an active person/family that loves to spend time outdoors. And of course, like any young dog, Jorge will need a patient family committed to his training and development.

If you believe Jorge could be the perfect addition to your family, we kindly request that you complete the Adoption Application, which can be found at this link:
https://linktr.ee/CA

Age: 14 months old
Weight: approx. 35-40 lbs when fully grown
Breed: Mixed breed (the best kind!)
Sociability: Adults, children (8+), dogs & cats
Energy Level: Medium energy indoors and high energy outdoors
Yard: Fenced yard preferable - he loves to spend time outdoors
Training: Needs basic obedience training
Medical Needs: None
Barking: Once in a while (...he's a dog!)
Guarding Behaviours: None
Separation Anxiety: None
Dislikes: Big dogs running up to meet him can be scary at first!
Sleeping: He sleeps through the night on a dog bed in his foster parents' room

PLEASE NOTE:
1. Our adoption process does not operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Our priority is to find the most suitable home for our dogs.
