VIP: Jordy is a friendly boy who is about 2 years of age. Jordy is very playful and does get a little rambunctious so will be best in a home without young children. Jordy went on a group dog walk with other dogs from the shelter. The volunteers said that he has so much personality! He was very friendly with the people and dogs on the walk. He seemed like he wanted to play with the other pups in the group. He easily jumped in the car and rode very well and was very calm. When he sits, he often sits between your legs. Jordy is a great walker, loves attention, and seems to love being around people. He LOVES belly rubs! Jordy is a sweet boy who was never claimed by his owner. <br/>Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done. <br/>Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed. Plano Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoptions are first come first serve. There is no application. Anyone over 18 years of age is eligible to adopt provided that they meet the adoption criteria for that specific animal. Criteria can range from having basic knowledge of the animal’s species or breed, having an established veterinary history, not having young children, the animal being legal to own in the city they live in, the breed they’re interested in being accepted at their apartments, etc. If a potential adopter doesn’t meet the criteria in place for that animal, they will be encouraged to look at other animals that may not have those restrictions in place. The criteria must also be met in order to visit with an animal.
