This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.

Say Hi to Joon!

This pretty girl can't wait to meet you! We are thinking playful and sassy Joon is a Rat Terrier mix about 1 years old. She might act a bit cautious at first meeting but give her some time and she will be your new best friend. She is good with adults and older kids after slow introductions. We think she would do best in a relatively calm, low foot traffic home.

She is friendly with other dogs and would do best in a household with another well-balanced dog for her to hang out with. She met some cats and seemed to get along, aside from a little barking. Joon is housetrained and crate trained but needs a little work on her leash skills and would love to join you on an adventure. A fenced yard would be ideal so she could run and play safely, but if that's not available she'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area.

She is a smart girl and basic group training classes is recommended to help her learn some new commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you.

Joon's Story: Joon and her brother were found as strays that had been dropped off and were being fed at a sawmill next door to their eventual foster home, which gave them their last name!
