She's an affectionate Velcro pup who follows you from room to room, happily flopping over for belly rubs and gently pawing for more pets. Shell even try to climb up for a snuggle and would love nothing more than to give you a face kiss if you're willing. Her cuddly, people-focused nature makes her an especially wonderful buddy for a home where someone is around often.<br/><br/>In terms of energy, Joni is a great medium-energy dog. She enjoys neighborhood walks and playtime, but she also settles beautifully and will nap near you while you work. She seems to enjoy enrichment activities (like puzzle games) just as much as zooming around the yard, and she keeps things fun with her hilarious lounging positions and her signature sploot. One of her favorite backyard hobbies is chasing grasshoppers.<br/><br/>Joni is house broken and has had no accidents in her foster home. She does well sleeping through the night (she loves sleeping on the bed), and she's comfortable spending time in a crate when her people are away. She goes into the crate willingly for a treat and typically relaxes or naps while crated.<br/><br/>Joni is still learning about the world and will thrive with an adopter who can continue to build her confidence—especially around cars, which currently make her very nervous. <br/><br/>Overall, Joni would love a home where she can be included as part of the family—ideally with someone who is home much of the time, has a securely fenced yard, and enjoys a loving, affectionate companion.
