Jolly's Story

Jolly is a 1-year-old, 45–50 lb Boxer mix who truly lives up to her name. She is incredibly sweet, playful, and happy-go-lucky, with a heart full of love and energy. Jolly adores other dogs and is happiest when she has a canine companion by her side—earning her the nickname “Sidekick.” Because of this, she requires another playful dog in her new home and would thrive with a dog of similar energy who enjoys play, doesn't mind playful nibbles and kisses, and might even be willing to share a dog bed.

Jolly is housebroken and crate trained and already knows her crate command. She picks up on cues quickly, learns routines almost instantly, and is very treat-motivated—making her a great candidate for learning new tricks. Most of all, she truly wants to please her people.

She's still gaining confidence with leash walking and isn't a big fan of car rides just yet, but she continues to improve with patience and encouragement. Jolly is currently a bit underweight and could use a few extra pounds, which her future family can help her achieve.

Jolly would be thrilled to join a loving, active family who will play with her, continue her training, and give her the joy of a dog sibling to share life's adventures with.
