My Adoption Fee Is Fully Sponsored by an anonymous donor! Hi there! My name is Jolene. I'm a nice southern girl who was pregnant when rescued by Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. Thankfully I was taken in just in time as I needed a C-section to deliver my babies - I never would have survived on my own! I was a very good Mama and raised my puppies well - they all have nice homes now! I would do best as the queen fur baby of the house without other pets. I've been waiting very patiently for my forever home as I've been going through heartworm treatment, but I now tested negative and am so ready for my forever family to find me! I'm really a sweet girl... the rescue people think I'm a cattle dog/pointer mix (whatever that is). I'm about 4 years old and weigh about 55 pounds (I'm currently a little on the chunky side). My adoption fee is now fully sponsored by a generous donor and includes my vet check, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test (negative!), microchip, and spay. 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
