My name is Jojo and I AM GORGEOUS! I have the classic Husky good looks, which means I will need a person or family who is game for several good brushings a week to keep me looking my very best! I can be a bit shy when I meet new people, but give me some time to get used to them, and I am all in! My foster says I am SUPER sweet, so playful and ready to be your couch bud once we have made friends. Looking for a pal to keep you meeting your daily walking goals? ME! Looking for a friend who loves winter weather as much as you do? Well...that is for sure me! Looking for a loyal companion who will always greet you with a happy tail? Me, me, me! Huskies love the great outdoors and can be talkers, so home with a fenced yard would be best for me! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a pre-adoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!<br/>Happy smiles and tail wags-Jojo<br/><br/><br/>**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $400 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog.   Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for.    Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog.  We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
