Jojo's Story
Meet Jojo!

Border Collie X Female Born January 2025 30 lbs

If you're looking for a smart, active companion who is always ready for the next adventure, Jojo might just be your perfect match!

As she's settled into foster care, Jojo's true personality has blossomed. She's incredibly intelligent, learns new routines quickly with consistent guidance, and absolutely loves a challenge. Treat puzzles and enrichment toys are some of her favorite activities—and she figures them out in no time!

Jojo has plenty of energy and loves to play. Whether it's chasing a ball, catching a frisbee, or racing around during her zoomies, she'd happily spend hours having fun with her people. She'll thrive in a home that can provide plenty of daily exercise, training, and mental stimulation to keep both her body and mind busy.

Like many Border Collies, Jojo has strong herding instincts and is beginning to show them by occasionally nipping at ankles during play. With positive, consistent training, she has all the potential to learn appropriate outlets for these natural instincts.

Jojo is making progress with house training. She still has the occasional accident indoors but is increasingly choosing to use pee pads, and she'll continue to improve with patience and consistency.

Jojo also has a high prey drive, which is common for her breed. She becomes very focused on birds, geese, and small animals, making it difficult to redirect her attention once she's locked on. Because of this, we believe she would do best in a home without cats or other small pets.

She can be shy and anxious around new people, but once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. She'll do best with a patient family willing to let her build confidence at her own pace.

Jojo is looking for an active home that understands the needs of a working breed and is committed to providing the exercise, enrichment, training, and love she deserves. In return, you'll gain a loyal, intelligent, and fun-loving best friend who's ready to be your adventure partner for years to come.
