Johnny Gill's Story
Meet Johnny Gill — the little rockstar with a big heart!
This adorable 12-pound guy (likely a Beagle, Jack Russell, Rat Terrier, or Chihuahua mix) may be small, but he’s got a larger-than-life personality. Johnny came to us from a Bay Area shelter where he landed on the euthanasia list — all because he was scared. Thankfully, he got his second chance, and he’s been proving every day that he’s full of love, joy, and potential.

At just 1–2 years old, Johnny is still learning what it means to be safe and loved. He came to us underweight and with rough skin, signs of a hard start in life. But those days are behind him now — his coat is improving, his confidence is growing, and his playful side shines brighter every day.

Johnny lives for playtime! He’s fast, agile, and loves a good game of chase with another friendly dog. In his ideal home, he’d have a dog buddy to romp around with and people who are home often. He’s not a fan of being left alone for long stretches — after all, he’s just now learning that people can be trusted.

He’s doing great in foster care and even learning that kids aren’t so scary after all. With a little more time, love, and patience, Johnny Gill will make an incredible, loyal companion.

This handsome tricolor boy will be neutered and ready for adoption very soon. If you’re looking for a fun, active, and affectionate little sidekick, Johnny Gill might just be your guy.

First Step Is To Apply Now
[Apply Now](http://form.jotform.com/underdogca/dog-adoption-application)
For application updates, forwarding requests, or any questions, contact us at adopt@underdogca.com.
