Johnny's Story

Hi, I'm Johnny, and I just arrived in rescue with Moira and two puppies Alexis and David! We were found as strays and taken in at a California shelter. I love playing with the mom of my puppies and other dogs. I am working on improving my leash walking skills. I love hanging with my foster family too. All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter.” This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience.

HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
