Johnny's Story

Johnny was stuck in a shelter from 6 month old until 1 year old. He joined our rescue and then went to service dog school because of his sweet disposition. He had 8 weeks of formal training but they decided he was too friendly and playful with other dogs to make it as a service dog. Now he is looking for an active home to call his own. He would excel in agility training or as a hiking and running partner. He is extremely curious about his surroundings and loves to sniff around. He is very dog friendly and would need meet and greets with cats because he has never met them before.

Arrows Landing Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All animals in our care receive full veterinary treatment prior to adoption, including vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, and medical clearance. Dogs also receive crate training, potty training support, and basic obedience foundations while in their foster homes. Animals who are too young or medically unable to be altered are placed in a foster-to-adopt arrangement. Their adoption is finalized once they are healthy and old enough for spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fees are based solely on the animal’s age and never on breed.
