John Deer

John Deer is more than meets the eye!! While there’s no denying he’s downright adorable, but he has a gentle and sweet disposition that exceeds most other dogs.<br/>While we don’t know his past, we do know he appeared at someone’s home in the country toting a friend…and not just any friend! He doesn’t seem to know a stranger and clearly he was never cut out for the hunting life, because he was traveling with a deer. That’s right, he had a real friendship with a young deer (we’re talking, not just walking with them, but snuggling up next to them, giving it kisses, romping with him…these two were buddies!). <br/>These two buddies hung out together for about a month at the home, until one day the wild called his friend back home.<br/>He eventually landed at Animal Control where we are happy to say we were able to rescue him. This is one social and special pup.
