John is a male Terrier mix who is looking for a new home. He came to the shelter due to allergies in his former home. John is very anxious dog in a kennel so life at the shelter has been hard for him. He was in a kennel with other dogs and did well with them, but he started trying to herd the staff when they entered the kennel. So we have moved him to a kennel without other dogs to try and curb some of his tense and restless behavior. He needs a home that will be patience, calm, and ready to work with him. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
