Despite everything he’s been through, Joey has remained one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet.<br/><br/>Not long after arriving at the shelter, Joey developed an enlarged prostate that left him in a great deal of pain. Even while he was uncomfortable, he was incredibly gentle, patient, and cooperative with everyone caring for him. Thanks to a course of antibiotics, he’s feeling great and is back to his happy, healthy self!<br/><br/>Joey enjoys the company of other dogs and has been paired for playtime with Amethyst.
