Joey's Story

Meet Joey

At just 11 months old and 33 lbs, Joey is the perfect medium-sized companion with a heart as big as his puppy eyes. This handsome black pup is the total package-playful, gentle, and already showing what an amazing family dog he's going to be.

Joey has been thriving in his foster home! He's living with five dogs and two cats and has done beautifully with everyone. He loves to play, takes corrections respectfully from other dogs, and easily matches the energy of his friends-whether they're social butterflies or a bit more selective.

He's still got that fun puppy energy, but it's balanced with a sweet, easy-going personality. Joey is doing great with his routine-no accidents so far with regular potty breaks-and he's already crate trained, settling in nicely and sleeping quietly through the night.

One of Joey's most endearing qualities is his gentle curiosity. New textures or unfamiliar objects might make him a little cautious at first, but he bravely investigates and quickly gains confidence. It's honestly the cutest thing to watch.

Dog friendly
Cat friendly
Crate trained
Doing great with housetraining
Sweet, playful, and eager to learn

Joey doesn't jump on furniture, has wonderful house manners for a pup, and most importantly-he's just pure goodness. The kind of dog that quietly works his way into your heart and never leaves.

He's going to make someone incredibly happy. Could that be you?
