Joey's Story

Joey is a 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog looking for a home that truly understands her breed. Joey is very smart, active, and loyal, and she thrives with structure, training, and a “job” to do.

Her current family loves her but did not realize how much time, guidance, and activity a working breed needs, so they’re doing the right thing by helping her find a more suitable home.

Joey will do best with an experienced herding/working-breed home or someone committed to training and providing daily physical and mental exercise. Joey is ready to be someone’s devoted partner.

All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed.

Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl.
Initial contact with us must be made through e-mail.
E-mail ARFofMercer@gmail.com directly for an adoption application or with any questions. Once your adoption application is approved, you will be invited to meet our dogs/puppies.
