Joe Joe's Story

🤎 Meet your new best friend, Joe Joe! 🤎

This 3.5-month-old chocolate pit bull puppy has already shown just how big his heart is. Found abandoned in a box behind a Dollar General, he hasn’t let his rough start dim his spirit—not even a little. In fact, he wakes up every day happy, hopeful, and ready to love.

He’s a people-loving, tail-wagging bundle of joy who adores everyone he meets and gets along great with other dogs. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, a walk around the neighborhood, or a cozy cuddle session, he’s just happy to be by your side. His energy is fun and playful, but balanced with a sweet, thankful nature that makes him incredibly special.

This smart boy is already crate trained and doing great with house training. He’s very treat motivated, which makes continued training both easy and fun. Toss him a toy, and you’ve got an instant best friend—he absolutely loves to play and will happily entertain himself or join in on games with you. Watch out for those sharp baby teeth — he is teething. Thankfully, he loves chew toys and he’s easily redirected!

More than anything, he’s looking for his person (or people) — someone to share adventures, quiet moments and a lifetime of love with. After everything he’s been through, he deserves a home where he’ll never be left behind again.

If you’re looking for a loyal, happy, and loving companion, this sweet boy is ready to fill your life with endless joy!

---
To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html
