Joe is a big, handsome goofball, at 4 years old, with lots of love to give. He's a curious, playful, and loving dog who is always eager to play fetch, go on walks, and explore the world around him. As a Rottweiler, his breed traits make him loyal and protective of his people, and he wants to be by your side through thick and thin. Joe has a lot of energy and is looking for an active family and an experienced handler who can take him on long walks and adventures. He is a big fan of car rides and absolutely loves water, so a family who can take him to the beach or pool would be ideal. Joe has lived with cats before and did very well, but he has not interacted much with children. Joe needs an adults-only home. He can go into a home with other dogs. Jewels Safe Haven Rescue Inc's Adoption Policy

We do a background check, vet check, and call the references the potential adopter has given us. Call the landlord if a potential adopter rents. There’s an adoption fee unless the bio says it’s waived, as well as a home check or virtual home visit. We can do out-of-state adoptions. If you currently have a dog and are applying for a dog who is with us, a meet and greet is also required.
