Jodie 46470's Story
Meet Jodie! If you’re looking for a calm, gentle companion who’s happiest by your side, Jodie might just be your perfect match. This sweet girl loves nothing more than lounging on the couch, soaking up a cozy, relaxed environment. With her low energy level and easygoing nature, she’s a wonderful fit for a quieter home.

Jodie is incredibly well behaved—she’s house trained, respectful of her space, and hasn’t shown any destructive habits (aside from enjoying a good chew toy!). She knows several commands like 'sit', 'lay down', and even 'speak', and she’s great about staying out of areas like the kitchen or trash without needing constant supervision. She also rides beautifully in the car, happily relaxing or enjoying the breeze with her head out the window.

She’s a cuddle bug at heart and loves laying next to her people, though she may have moments where she prefers her own space—especially if she’s not feeling her best physically. Jodie can be a little shy at first, particularly around women, and will need a few days to a couple of weeks to fully settle in and build confidence. Once she trusts you, though, her affectionate and gentle personality really shines.

Jodie would do best in a home that understands her need for a slow introduction to dogs (calm dog friends are a must), new people, and environments. She’s done well with children in the past, though older, more respectful kids would be best.

She’s a bit of a picky eater, but adding a little wet food does the trick, and she’s happy to enjoy treats (especially if there’s cheese involved!).

Overall, Jodie is a quiet, loving soul who just wants a comfy spot to relax and a patient person to call her own.
