"Joan is so sweet, loves everyone. She is so smart and gentle. She would do well with a fenced yard, (she can run!) and would love a doggie friend. She sounds like she has some hound in her. She's good on a leash, playful and submissive with other dogs she meets. She's not timid or fearful walking around downtown, just curious. She does harass my cat a bit, but not terrible, he hisses and swats at her and she backs off. She'd make a great hiking or running buddy. Fill out an application. Adoption Coordinator is assigned to applicant. After initial conversation AC does checks for references, vet, landlord (if renters). Once adoption applicant is approved, the AC will assist in finding the perfect dog for them.
