But she looooooves people. She does tend to pick one person to be hers. Jo also loves to snuggle, nuzzle, and steal toys. Also she will steal your house shoe if you ignore her. She is incredibly sweet, funny, and social. She does still need additional work with potty training since she will still mark. She will mainly go outside and use potty pads, but occasionally she has to make sure you know that floor is hers. <br/><br/>***09/10/26 - 📍 Austin TX, Asheville NC <br/>Sure Jo Mama would LOVE to find a new family while she is in Texas (especially a family where Kenzie is not in the picture), but what this little skin pigeon really wants ... a pumpkin hidey hole bed where she can stash all her fall and Halloween toys 👻🎃 that she stole from her foster siblings. <br/>Jo said that she hopes to find people soon that appreciate her weird quirks and snuggle screams. <br/>Most importantly Jo Mama demands to be spoiled, and let's face it... that is the face of a dog that is going to get exactly what she wants. <br/>Now who is going to buy her that pumpkin bed?!? 🎃🛏️<br/><br/>***08/23/26 - 📍Asheville, North Carolina <br/>Jo Mama, aka skin pigeon, is still available. Jo has everything you want in a Chihuahua;<br/>♥️ She shakes constantly <br/>♥️ Cries at you for no reason <br/>♥️ Steals toys to create a nest <br/>♥️ Then growls at any dogs that come close to her nest, even if she just stole their toy<br/>♥️ Will steal your house shoes if you ignore her<br/>♥️ Occasionally will potty outside instead of the kitchen <br/>♥️ Will eat poop 💩 (we don't ask who's)<br/>♥️ Will try to murder you out of love when she gets overly excited<br/>♥️ Wiggles when you look at her<br/>♥️ Gets so excited when you come home she just wiggles, cries, and brings you a toy <br/>♥️ Wants to burrow into your lap<br/>♥️ Wants to kiss you so you know she loves you<br/>♥️ Will make you smile and treat her like the chaos queen she is<br/>♥️ Loves to go everywhere with you<br/>♥️ Is just the most lovable heathen you could hope for<br/>Jo Mama gets along with other dogs, but don't be confused, she is a jerk. She will try to assert dominance but it just ends up looking like a sock puppet fight. Jo would honestly love to be an only dog, or partnered with a pup that leaves her human alone whenever she is in snuggle mode.<br/>Jo Mama is tiny (like the opposite of yo mama so fat). She is 5.5 lbs and approximately 10 years old. Despite being the hottest of messes, you will love this girl forever.<br/><br/>***07/29/26 - North Carolina foster<br/>Meet Jo Mama!<br/>Jo Mama is crazy! Loca! A lunatic! And we love every minute of it. This tiny 5 lb senior girl is a work in progress, but makes us smile every second of it. <br/>Jo loooooves people, but is a wee bit of a weirdo. So will go from wiggles and kisses to squeals and shark mode. She will mouth you and squeal and run away. All while still being adorable and wiggly. <br/>Jo will growl at other pups, but really will just ignore them and wiggle over anyone who gets in her way. Did I mention she wiggles? Cause she definitely wiggles, like a lot! She loves to get butt skritches and roll around your lap before shrieking and escaping. Jo Mama is just absolutely psychotic, and you will be obsessed!<br/>Jo Mama is working on house training, her new favorite trick is leaving a tiny pee puddle in the kitchen, and then wiggling over to me for kisses when I ask her who peed on my floor. So she is very talented. <br/>Jo is available for adoption in the Asheville NC area. <br/><br/>***07/26/26 - Jo Mama is a sweet and spicy 5 lb, 10 year old senior queen. Jo was owner surrendered to a shelter. She is so lovey, needy, cuddly, but will have little hissy fits occasionally when someone else goes to pet her and she is cozy. <br/><br/>***07/20/26 - New intake from San Antonio ACS, 10 yrs, 5 lbs.
