He is an active dog and would be too much for a senior owner. Absolutely no children or grandkids. Adult only home is best.<br/><br/>Meet JoJo, a handsome, active 9-year-old black n white Cavalier mix. His owner bought him from a breeder. When he decided to move, he turned him into a shelter where he was taken in by a rescue. He bit several of their people, and they didn't know how to deal with him, so he came to us. Every day we have worked with him, challenged him and corrected him to behave properly. We have not quit on him just because he needs to learn things. He has been with us for a little over 4 years and has made tremendous progress. His issues are doable if you listen to our suggestions and what we have learned works for him to be a good dog. <br/><br/>Ideal home is a calm adult only home with a good alpha owner willing to work with him and a small dog social pal. A fenced yard is a must. He is crate trained, mostly house trained and eats well at mealtimes. A home with few visitors and limited distractions is a plus. No children, no grandchildren and no senior owners due to his past. He can be with other dogs but doesn't do well with big dogs and cannot be in a home with Pitt Bulls. He does best with Cocker Spaniels and Corgi's, but he is not a dog who likes to play with them. He is selective with who he likes and will bond well with you once he knows you. He can be a sweet, goofy guy, likes to play fetch, is a bit jealous at times, enjoys mealtimes and doesn't do well going outside when it rains. A woman groomer is best.<br/><br/>Adoption Fee $400
