JoJo's Story

JoJo is a sweet, well-behaved girl who just wants a lap and all of your attention. Her original owner passed away, and her dog companion got adopted. She is smart and friendly, does well with other dogs, and loves treats. She wants a pet from everyone she meets. She is still healthy and active. A staff favorite.

Shep's Place Senior Dog Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
As a Sanctuary, our dogs are welcome to stay forever. But if a person or family comes along that is a good fit, and we believe that the dog would be better off with them, then we are certainly open to adopting them out. We require that a potential adopter fill out an application, meet the dog at our facility, and submit to a home visit. If that goes well, there is a two-week trial foster period, which either side can cancel. Hopefully at the end, our dog will be happy in its new home!
