Jip's Story

Meet your new best friend! This handsome and powerful fellow is a true "people dog" who loves to give affection. An active dog who loves to play and would do best with an equally engaged owner. His enthusiasm for life means he needs some guidance on boundaries, but he is a devoted companion at heart. This boy is a loyal and loving shadow who will follow his person everywhere. He thrives on attention and is looking for a family that can include him in all their daily activities. A strong nose for tracking and a high prey drive mean he must always remain on-leash outside. Requires a family that is prepared to provide consistent attention and training to manage his exuberance. This strong dog loves to play ball and requires significant exercise.

Friends for Life Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters can visit our website and fill out an adoption application. We then do a vet check and a phone call to them. They come and visit the dog they are interested in at the foster home. There are at least 3 visits with the potential adopters and depending on whether there are other dogs in the household there is more than one visit with said dogs. At least one of the visits is at the potential adopters home so that a home inspection can be done. We encourage walking the dog and play interaction. We talk with potential adopters about training and decompression. We also offer help after adoption with any issues that arise.
