Jinx is a rambunctious, lovable pup who has hit the ground running in his foster home here in Maine! <br/>Found with his mom and siblings in Little River Canyon National Park in Alabama, this little guy has an estimated birthday of December 2025 and weighs about 20lbs.<br/><br/>He has settled in beautifully. He eats well, is fully of energy, and bursting with personality! He loves playing with his foster dog, chasing a ball, and has already started showing interest in the frisbee (though it's still a little big for him to carry around). Chew toys, wrestling, and turning ordinary moments into a puppy party are basically his love language.<br/><br/>Jinx is knocking it out of the park on the practical stuff too. Potty training is going great, he hasn't had an accident indoors since his very first night, and a bathroom break every 1–2 hours keeps him on track. <br/><br/>He sleeps through the night and seems to be adjusting to the crate, too. Jinx does whine when his people or his foster dog are out of sight, so he'll thrive best with a family who can give him time, consistency, and reassurance as he builds his confidence.<br/>Jinx is working on leash manners and basic commands. Once he's burned off that puppy energy, Jinx transforms into a world-class snuggler who considers a warm lap the greatest invention known to dogs. This boy just brings good vibes. <br/><br/>Jinx would do wonderfully in an active home with a family ready to help him learn his manners and grow into the steady, sweet companion he's already showing signs of becoming. Jinx will make any family very happy!<br/><br/>YOUR ADOPTION FEE COVERS: Transport to Maine, age specific vaccinations, Health certificate, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming & martingale collar.<br/><br/>Adoption fees:<br/>Through 6 months of age $450;<br/>7 months to through 5 years $400;<br/>6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500;<br/>9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300<br/><br/>This dog is available unless it is marked as Pending, meaning Pending Adoption. This dog is in foster care locally, ONLY if Maine is listed next to the dogs name; otherwise, the dog is still waiting with our partner rescue for an adoption or foster home in New England.<br/><br/>All dogs have a current Health Certificate for transport. All imported dogs are quarantined 14 days prior to getting on transport. They have had annual heartworm tests and are on heartworm preventative.<br/><br/>FOR PUPPIES: PLEASE READ!!<br/>Homes considering Puppies must be prepared for:<br/>Flexible Schedules for Potty Training. Puppies can only hold urine for one hour per month of age. Crate Training for the next 10 months to keep them safe from chewing on everything in your home. Supervision with Children and Obedience training.<br/>Socialization; both with new people, children and other dogs outside of the home.<br/>Homes that want a well behaved dog, must be prepared to put the time, effort and costs associated to train a puppy.
