🐾 Meet Jinx 9 months old<br/><br/>Jinx came to Meraki as a tiny pup barely hanging on. At just a few months old, she spent a full week hospitalized after arriving in terrible condition, her small body overwhelmed by worms and neglect. She fought hard — and she won.<br/><br/>Now around 9 months old, Jinx has grown into a confident, smart, resilient young dog with a strong will and a bright mind. She’s alert, expressive, and deeply bonded to the people she trusts. The spark in her eyes tells you everything — this is a dog who chose to survive.<br/><br/>Jinx’s biggest hurdle is food aggression. If food is present around other dogs, she can react quickly and will need continued management and training. <br/><br/>Because of this, Jinx will do best with:<br/>-An experienced, dog-savvy adopter<br/>-A calm, respectful resident dog (or a home able to manage feedings separately)<br/>-Someone committed to structure, consistency, and continued training<br/><br/>With the right boundaries and environment, Jinx does very well. She isn’t broken — she’s a survivor still learning that she doesn’t have to compete to be safe.<br/><br/>If you understand that some rescue dogs come with lessons already learned the hard way, Jinx may be your girl. Her story is one of grit, growth, and huge potential.
