What is Humane Society of Macomb’s adoption process?

Due to Covid19, we are doing adoptions by appointment only. Please call us for an appointment. We are offering virtual zoom meetings to review your application with you. You and your family will need to meet the pets in person during a scheduled meet and greet. The meet and greet will determine if/when you will be able to officially adopt the pet. Please call us to schedule an appointment!

What is Jinx’s adoption fee?

$200

Is Jinx good with kids?

Jinx is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Jinx good with other animals?

Jinx is good with other dogs. It is not known if Jinx is good with cats.

When can I meet Jinx?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Jinx?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
