Jingle's Story
Jingle is roughly 2 months old and he was surrendered to our rescue with his siblings after they witnessed their mother be hit by a car. Not only did they have to witness something that traumatic, their mother was then placed in a pen with them where they watched her slowly pass away from her injuries (the owner never took her to get veterinary care). They were then starved and watched one of their sibling pass away from malnourishment and that's thankfully their owner surrendered them. Jingle, he likes to snuggle, cuddle and be with his person. He would be a perfect purse dog to go along with you on your adventures. Jingle is currently being fostered with other dogs and a teenage child.

A note from Jingles foster- "He is loving and extremely sweet. He always wants to be with his person. He will snuggle on your lap as long as you will let him." We do not fully know what breed these puppies are, but we believe they are most likely a dachshund mix, possibly mixed with Chihuahua or Jack Russell Terrier, but as they are rescues, we do our best guess.

While these puppies have been fostered with children, we prefer them to be placed in homes with children over the age of 10 to ensure their safety as they are only 2 lbs.

These pups are adoptable in Santa Rosa (Sonoma County) 95403. We will only adopt within driving distance of Santa Rosa. We do not ship dogs.

Applications will only be reviewed if you submit all required steps: application, home photos (inside as well as front and backyards) as well as a walk through video. This would be a complete application. You can find the application at www.softpawsrescue.org/applytoadopt if you're unsuccesful in doing so here. Please email everything to softpawsrescue@gmail.com. Please keep in mind we get over 200 applications per litter we post, so if you really want to be considered, please come to us prepared with everything we need to evaluate your fit. We will reach out to you if we feel that you're a fit for one of our dogs.

Please be familiar with our COVID adapted policies: We are not conducting meet-and-greets at this time. All pre-approval is done through online communications. Once approved and selected, you will do a contract and prepayment online and you will be given an adoption appointment that aligns with our scheduling. This is the method that works best for our very small rescue and to ensure that we are keeping everyone protected through social distancing.
