What is Second Chance Dog Rescue’s adoption process?

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped with a lifetime registration, have had all vaccinations and heartworm tested.  Please email SecondChanceResQ@gmail.com with any questions regarding the adoption process. We don't have a facility.  All our animals are fostered in private homes.  Please email SecondChanceResQ@gmail.com to schedule a meeting with one of our pets.

Is Jimmy good with kids?

Jimmy is not good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Jimmy good with other animals?

Jimmy is good with other dogs. It is not known if Jimmy is good with cats.

When can I meet Jimmy?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Jimmy?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
