Meet Jim!<br/><br/>Jim is an adorable Pit Bull mix puppy who is ready to leave his difficult start behind and find a forever family.<br/><br/>Born in a homeless encampment alongside the freeway, Jim was one of only four puppies from a litter of eight who were surrendered to rescue. Now he has the opportunity to experience the life every puppy deserves.<br/><br/>Jim is smart, affectionate, playful, and eager to be wherever his people are. He loves attention and would happily spend his day following his family around as their little shadow.<br/><br/>His parents were both approximately 45 pounds, and we expect Jim to mature into a medium-sized dog.<br/><br/>At only 8 weeks old, Jim is still very much a baby. He has no formal training and will need a family committed to helping him learn everything from basic manners to potty training and socialization.<br/><br/>His ideal home would include:<br/> A house with a securely fenced yard<br/> A flexible schedule for puppy training and care<br/> A commitment to socialization and obedience training<br/> Plenty of exercise and enrichment<br/> Another friendly dog to help show him the ropes<br/><br/>Jim is looking for a family that understands puppies require patience, consistency, and a lifelong commitment.
