Meet JetPuff! <br/><br/>Jetpuff had a hard beginning of his life. At just 4 years old he ended up at a overcrowded shelter with a protruding eye. Thankfully he ended up at a shelter who was able to get him the help he needed, and he ended up walking out the shelter doors in the arms of someone who promised to love him forever. <br/><br/>Up until he was hit by a car at a high speed of rate, and ended up back at that very shelter. <br/><br/>After multiple attempts, the owners didn't show up for him. With a severely broken pelvis he was in pain, and he wasn't in the mood to be loving. Severely matted, unsure, hurt, and left behind like last weeks trash. Days went by and we networked him. We didn't have the funds to take on a medical, so I tried so hard to find him a great outcome. Days turned into a week, and this boy started to wag his tail. <br/><br/>Despite the pain, he wanted to survive. <br/><br/>The day came that his time ran out, and I couldn't handle the idea of his wagging tail being taken to the back. So I do what I always do, and made it work. After multiple xrays, orthopedic surgeon looking over them, crate rest was the answer. He was so broken they wanted to see how his body healed. <br/><br/>Today, he may run funny, but his tail still waggs, and he does the zoomies in his own way. <br/><br/>Jetpuff is good with other dogs but would love to be the apple of someones eye. He can be true to his breed and have a serious attitude. For this reason he would do best in a home with no kids. Although he walks funny, that doesn't slow him down. One eye? No problems, this boy is ready to party, or cuddle. This boy has been through so much and desperately needs someone that will work with him and be patient. Sometimes when you go to pet him you can startle him, and he can give you a warning. <br/><br/>Can you blame him? <br/><br/>Hurt and lost his eye. <br/><br/>Hit by a car.<br/><br/>Life just knocked him down over and over. <br/><br/>Now he needs someone to lift him up and never let him down again. <br/><br/>Jetpuff is a 3 year old 10 pound male Shih Tzu. He does have a beautiful long coat that will require regular grooming. He is fixed, UTD on shots, dewormed, flea treated, & microchipped. He is located in Clovis California and available for adoption through Paw Squad 559.
