Meet Jersey, a 2 year old, 12 pound Yorkie mix, who is a bit of a shy girl, but warms up quickly. She really enjoys to snuggle next to you on the couch while you watch TV or sit in your lap. If you work from home she will lay right next to you while you work. She just wants to be near her humans and to be loved.<br/><br/>Jersey should be fine in a home with respectful kids over 12. She does have some resource guarding with her food, bones and her toys.<br/>If she can get hold of your shoes, she will take them to her “room” along with her toys. She hasn’t chewed any shoes, yet. She’s just taken them to her bed.<br/><br/>NO CATS. No apartments/condos as she can be a barker. A small dog secure fenced yard is a must for her. She loves to do her zoomies.<br/><br/>Jersey gets along well with dogs that are smaller than she is. She does NOT get along with dogs larger than she is. Larger dogs scare her.<br/><br/>Jersey is house trained with reminders. She’s also crate trained. In fact she loves her “room”.<br/>Since Jersey was a stray her past is a complete mystery.<br/><br/>Meeting Jersey is by appointment only with an approved application.
