Jerry

Jerry is a special, anxious pup who has made his way around our shelter over time! After coming in stray with no history, we knew almost nothing about him. Now, he has been adopted and returned, and we still don't know much, but he has made very clear to staff that he needs a home where he will not be left alone often. He is affectionate, playful, gentle, and a total sweetheart, but being by himself is just too overwhelming for this guy! Fortunately, he loves everyone, so his criteria for company are not many. He LOVES other dogs, and we feel that having other, more confident dogs in the house could be a nice, calming influence for him (and playmates, obviously!). He also has previous experience living with cats, and is a rockstar with our younger set of volunteers. We don't know exactly what his future family looks like yet, but Jerry has shown us that he wants to learn and grow, and he just needs the support to do that. He loves to snuggle, play with toys, or enjoy a calming enrichment activity. If you'd like to see what he's about, don't wait: just come meet him for yourself!
