Jensen's Story

Hi, I'm a little street survivor turned snuggle bug!

When my foster mommy first found me, I was just skin and bones, wandering the streets looking for food and trying my best to be brave. Life was scary and lonely - but everything changed when I was saved. Now I'm safe, warm, and finally learning what it means to be loved.

Even though I'm still a very young puppy, I'm super smart - I've never had an accident in the house! I'm already learning my commands, getting the hang of this "toys and treats" thing, and figuring out that humans can be trusted. I'm also learning how to have fun, and every day I get a little more confident and happy.

I get along great with other dogs and love having furry friends to play with. I don't really know what breed I am - maybe a little mystery mix of sweetness and resilience - but what I do know is that I'm going to make someone the bestest girl in the whole wide world.

Now, I'm just looking for my forever home - a family who will keep helping me learn that love is forever. Could that be you?

Jensen is a female Jack Russell Terrier mix with an estimated date of birth of 6/30/25. As of 11/1, she weighs 13 lbs.

K-9 Angels Rescue's Adoption Policy
ADOPTION FEEs: CASH or CHECK ONLY DOGS $200 ($275 for Puppies) - includes spay/neuter alteration, shots, microchip, medicines and other medical procedures, if necessary. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: Due to the Coronavirus we are suspending out of state adoptions until further notice. Our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months for complete vetting by our Houston veterinarian. We have been inundated with too many applications and, going forward, we will only review applications for people who currently have a dog or who have had a dog where the vet reference is in THE APPLICANT's name. We are unable to respond to email inquiries and requests for updates as we do not have the staff or capacity to handle all the emails/applications we are receiving. We will contact you via email with approvals and/or requests should we need additional information. When we reopen for adoptions it will be by appointment only for pre-approved adopters with good vet references. We will continue to do 3rd and 4th vaccinations for any previously adopted puppies from 10am-12pm on Saturdays at the adoption center. Please follow instructions upon your arrival there.
