She’s a true nurturer who adores being close to her people — whether that means curling up beside you on the couch or resting her head in your lap after a long day. She’s affectionate, loyal, and has a calm, steady energy that fills her home with warmth.<br/><br/>She’s potty trained, house trained, and crate trained, though she no longer needs to be crated in her foster home. Jenny walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys car rides, and loves the company of other dogs. She’s gentle and respectful with cats, too.<br/>At around 8 years old, Jenny has the perfect balance of playful and relaxed — she can romp with a puppy all afternoon or lounge contentedly watching the world go by. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. And for those curious about her background, Jenny’s DNA and age test results will be back within the month, giving us even more insight into this amazing girl’s story.<br/><br/>Jenny has overcome so much and is ready to share her endless love with a forever family who will treasure her as much as she treasures life. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Jenny's adoption fee is $250, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
