JENNI's Story
Meet Jenni: Retired Mama & Chief Couch Companion

Jenni is a 5–6 year old American Bulldog who spent the early part of her life being used for breeding. After years of raising puppies, she has officially clocked out of the motherhood business and is now pursuing her lifelong dream of being a spoiled house dog and professional couch potato.

These days, Jenni is all about the simple pleasures in life: soft couches, cozy homes, and humans who understand that personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule. Her favorite place to be is right next to her person — ideally leaning against you like a warm, snoring paperweight with a big blocky head.

Jenni absolutely adores people. If you’re sitting down, she’s sitting with you. If you’re walking around the house, she’s your friendly shadow. She’s the kind of dog who believes every human exists primarily for petting, cuddling, and telling her she’s a blockhead beauty (which, to be fair, she is).

Because Jenni is such a people-focused girl, she’d much rather spend her time soaking up attention from humans than sharing the spotlight with other pets. She would likely do best as the only dog in the home and probably isn’t interested in roommates that meow or weigh 10 pounds.

If you would like to meet JENNI, or for more information, please email PetRescueOfMercer@gmail.com Applicants must live within 60 min of Hamilton, NJ to be considered. A vet check will be conducted for each application and a solid vet history for current and past pets will be verified. All current animals in the home must be up to date on vaccinations and preventatives prior to the vet check.
