Jemma's Story

Meet Jemma, isn't she beautiful?! She's a 6-month-old Great Dane, she's a newcomer to the rescue so we're still getting to know her. Sadly, she came to us from a neglect situation, so needs to put on some weight, about 30lbs of it.

She seems to do okay on leash but still needs training, a bit clumsy yet! lol She's such a big sweetheart, just needs some love and guidance. She does get a bit scared of quick movements and timid when meeting new people but softens up quick!

She's still at the vet clinic getting care, and doing great with their clinic cat, doesn't mind other dogs. She'd make an amazing companion if given the chance!

If your family feels Jemma would be a good match, please visit our website at, www.doggonerescue.com, to fill out our adoption application. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop us a msg. We look forward to hearing from you!

Dog Gone Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to adopt from Dog Gone Rescue! We are a foster based rescue, hoping to have a building in near future, but until then, we have wonderful foster families that help us care for the furkids until their adopted. In order to meet and hopefully adopt one of our animals, you'll need to visit our website at, www.doggonerescue.com, to fill out Adoption Application. Once we've processed your application, if your family is determined to be a good match, we'll move forward on setting up a meet-n-greet. If all goes well at the meeting, we'll finalize the adoption at that time and you can take your new furry family member home with you! All of our animals up for adoption are: Spayed/Neutered (unless too young), heart worm tested (FIV/Leuk tested for cats), microchipped, flea treated and of course current on all vaccinations. We strive to make sure we adopt out healthy furkids! Our Adoption Fees are: Dog/Puppies - $200 Cats/Kittens - $75/$50 We require all Adopters that have current pets to have them current on shots and fixed, thanks!
