Jellyfish - ADOPTABLE's Story

Meet Jellyfish! She's as sweet and silly as the name, with the cutest face and happiest personality! Jellyfish is around 2 years old and we think she's a Lab x Shepherd xPitty blend. Jellyfish LOVES dogs! She spent some time in foster where we learned more about her! She does amazing on car rides, listens well (for the most part), and is eager to please. She is extremely loyal, and after tuckering her out, she will sleep by your side contentedly. She sleeps through the night and is house trained (doesn't go after food on the counters and doesn't have accidents in the house), and she could do well with a well-matched cat (a dog-savvy one) as she chases cats but only wants to play with them when she's bored. She understands that she needs to sleep on her doggy bed and will stay there to sleep. She won't bark when someone comes to the door and has no aggression towards people entering the house, and will greet them happily. She is a quick learner and is highly trainable with someone who has previous experience with an energetic dog!

She can get overly excited on leash when she sees other dogs so she's working on staying calm and not coming on so strong. She has shown signs of separation anxiety so will need someone with the time and patience to work on that issue (or someone who is home a lot!). She may do well in a home with another dog to help provide her reassurance in that aspect! She has started on crate training but does become frustrated and vocal after a few hours, so this area will also need some time and patience! Jellyfish is very affectionate and playful, but when she gets overly excited she may also treat your feet and hands as if they're toys - something she's learning is not appreciated, but will need further practice on! She has so much potential and we know she'll be an amazing dog.

For more info on this cutie email adoptadog@fvrd.ca or call 844-495-2273!
