**Currently Enrolled in the Coffeewood Canines Program<br/><br/>Jeff is a young hound mix with a personality thats impossible not to smile at. At about 58 pounds, he has that classic hound mix of curiosity, enthusiasm, and just the right amount of lovable goofiness.<br/><br/>When Jeff first comes out of his kennel he launches like a racehorse out of the gate, excited to start the day and see what adventure might be waiting. After a few minutes to burn off that initial excitement, he settles nicely and shows off the sweet, playful dog underneath.<br/><br/>Jeff loves his walks and is happiest when he has something to do. His manners can still be a little puppyish at times, but he is a very smart dog who enjoys learning and interacting with his people.<br/><br/>He absolutely loves squeaky toys and isnt shy about entertaining himself with them, but when snack time rolls around Jeff quickly remembers his polite side and will happily sit and wait for treats.<br/><br/>Jeff has done well with most dogs he has met and appears to enjoy social interactions. He showed little interest during his visit to the cat room while here at the shelter.<br/><br/>Like many young dogs, Jeff will benefit from continued guidance, structure, and a routine as he settles into home life.
